Designed by Piero Castagnero, I liked this version a lot, both for the successful line, and for the improved finishes compared to the sedan. Despite the latter being designed under the supervision of the Fiat style centre, the coupรฉ was conceived and designed down to the last bolt by the technicians of the historic Turin factory of Borgo San Paolo. In the 1982 the range was enriched with the “2000 Volumex”, powered by a supercharged version with volumetric compressor 1995 cmยณ. La Volumex, which he had 136 HP and greater maximum torque, it was recognizable by the VX plate on the grille, for a bulge on the bonnet in correspondence with an elbow of the intake manifold which was engaged on the volumetric compressor.
